Kathy received her PhD in Biology from the State University of New York at Syracuse in 1990. Kathy joined the Taylor lab as a post doc in March of 1991. Kathy researched the molecular evolution and population ecology of the ectomycorrhizal fungus, Cenococcum geophillum. Kathy left the Taylor lab in August of 1998 and is currently living in Lexington, Massachusetts.
